Email Responders - Adding Messages

Add a Message to your Email Responder...

Written by James Dodd

Having created an email responder, you now can add messages to this. All you need to do is view your responder, and select '+ Add New Message' or 'would you like to create one now'.

You will then need to fill out the following form to Create Email Message:

Name - Enter a unique name for your message, so you can identify this email message in the future!

Allow Resend? - If you select 'Yes', we'll try and send the message again, if you select 'No' we'll only try to send the message once.

Test Group - A test group allows you to A/B test messages

Send - Chose either to send your responder immediately when an event is triggered, or specify if you would like a delay (send after n minutes).

On Event - Chose which events you want to trigger your Email responder, for example if you select 'when leads are processed' then the moment a lead is processed in Databowl, an message will be sent to the prospect.

Cancel Previously Sent Messages - Select 'Yes or 'No'.

Email Sender: The name you wish to appear as the email sender.

Email Template: If you have a HTML email template, place it here. Or create a new one...

Email Subject: The subject line of the email as it will appear to the prospect.

Copy To: If you want, enter an additional email address that will be copied into each email we send to leads.

Add Rule Group - By default this message will be sent to all processed leads, you can change this by adding conditions (rule groups). For example you can add a condition that will make it so this message is only sent to leads that are aged over 18. Add a pre-existing rule group by selecting this from the drop-down list or create a new rule group...
