For MaxContact we've developed a custom API wrapper which simplifies the connection to their API and can be used with Databowls API forwarder with ease.
Follow these instructions to get it easily set up.
Step 1: Basic Details
Content Type: urlencoded
Http Authentication : Basic
HTTP Auth Username : your username
HTTP Auth Password - your password
This is using the ImportXMLFiles API end point which is referenced here in the documentation :
Step 2: Mappings
Fields to be mapped are:
MappingName and then the fields you have been given to map
Add a Static field subdomain which mapped to your max contact subdomain
Step 3: Test Test Test
A successful response should return '<Success>true</Success>'
