Campaign CAP's are great, they can allow you to limit your delivery and avoid over delivering on a contract! But if you're seeing numbers that don't match in your reporting, these discrepancies can be frustrating...

Here's a few key areas that it's worth checking

Report Times vs Cap Times

Our Cap times operate on UTC time zone, so when running reports, if the time zone differs, the numbers may differ for leads that straddle the two time zones.

Report run on lead received vs lead update

If you have a reprocess task or manually reprocess leads from quarantine, then the lead time on these leads will stay the same.

EG: if they a lead is received 2 days ago, but has been reprocessed today... on a report based on received it will count towards 2 day ago, not today.

Instead, you may want to look at lead update as this will be more reflective of the changes to the lead being reprocessed.

Small differences in Cap numbers

If you're seeing small differences in cap numbers, this could be down to the system receiving simultaneous leads at the end of the cap.

eg: if you have a cap of 100 but are at 99, and 3 leads come in at the same time, they may all be given a flag to proceed. This is extremely rare, but can happen.
