The mapping section allows you to map your client's fields to the relevant Databowl campaign fields.

Sometimes your fields will be called one thing in Databowl, but your client wants them to be named something else... This is where mapping comes in on your forwarder.

You can amend any of your fields to match the field you are exporting the data to by clicking edit.

This is super useful when the client uses a different language, Name vs Nom, or even when we're dealing with smaller changes such as address1 vs address_1

Mapping Types

Field

This is the Databowl field. You can select an input field such as firstname /lastname

Static

This allows you to add a static field to a forwarder. You can enter this value in the Input box

Custom Format

The Custom Format mapping type gives you a free form input where you can send lead data however you want. For example if you want to send your first & last name fields in a single output param you could enter: %firstname% %lastname%

Identifier

This allows you to map a Databowl identifier. From the input field you can map:

  • Lead ID - Databowl leaddid

  • Campaign ID - the Databowl cid value

  • Supplier ID - the Databowl sid value

  • Supplier Reference / one/ two - pass any reference you have given a company in the additional reference fields

  • Sub Supplier ID - Databowl SSID

  • Sub Supplier Reference -Databowl SSID reference

  • Affiliate UID - Databowl UID - if this is an affiliate/lead gen campaign

Metadata

This allows you to map Metadata Received at

  • Received at - pass the received at data

  • Last updated - pass the last updated value

  • cost - pass the cost value

  • revenue - pass the revenue value

Marketing Channel

All the data delated to your opt in information, postal, SMS Phone etc.

Header

If your client wants you to pass custom headers to their APi, then you'll need this.

The possibilities are endless.
